The exhibit opened last week at La Maison Rouge in Paris and will run through January 20, but without the items that Sokolov found so offensive: gone were the now notorious kissing policemen (the real name of the work is \"The Era of Compassion\") and other works by a group of artists that call themselves Blue Noses, as well as a work by Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe, a self-styled Marilyn Monroe impersonator who featured himself in a self-portrait \"as Hitler.\" Two works by Maria Konstantinova and one by Vyacheslav Sisoyev were also nixed from the showing.
