Thus the Paris exhibition - consisting to large degree of works acquired by the Tretyakov Gallery itself (other works are from the collections of the artists or galleries in Germany and the United States) - has become a \"dissident\" exhibition. What will suffer from this clumsy assault of cultural bureaucrats? Russia\'s image, first of all. That is the real scandal, when a state, in the face of the Ministry of Culture, sullies its own image.
