The minister of culture was especially provoked by an ironic work titled \"Era of Mercy\" by the \"Blue Noses\" group - Alexandr Shaburov and Viacheslav Mizin, which features two uniformed policemen locked in an ardent kiss in a birch grove. Another banned work by the same group was a collection of 65 works by the same group called \"Mask Show,\" which includes pictures of the artists wearing masks depicting various notables, including George W. Bush, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Princess Diana, President Aleksandr Lukashenko of Belarus and the recently murdered Alexander Litvinenko. Other examples of banned works are \"The Hope of the World,\" by the late Russian caricaturist Vyacheslav Sysoev, which shows a youthful Hitler, Stalin and Mao, and a photographic series by the \"PG Group\" called \"Glory to Russia,\" whose images include a policeman holding a fistful of dollars and a woman begging on the Metro.
